More proactivity good - a little basic publicity is a good idea too, even if it's as simple as posts to -café and all that. Other things that might be due'd be spaces for people to jot down things like intending to show up, having a potential talk to give etc. |

AngloHaskell 2008 is currently in the early stages of planning with a provisional idea of holding it at Imperial College, London. Ganesh Sittampalam, Matthew Sackman and Tristan Allwood are the people organising this.
Currently, we're looking at the weekend of the 8th/9th August 2008.
We'd welcome any comments on the idea of holding it in London (as opposed to Cambridge where it has been in previous years) - in particular accomodation may be more difficult/expensive for some people. Just edit this page or email ganesh@earth.li.
Date seems sensible. Any ideas for activities in place of punting? Pubbage should be somewhat easier to come by, although some thought might want putting into the combination of wifi and reasonable prices.

This may come as a shock, but I have actually had a decently-priced pint in London!
