For this hackathon, we are trying an experiment with two rooms and a different purpose for each room: one for pure hacking and one for optional talks, tutorials, and meetings. For the second one, we have a schedule.
1 The Applicative Room
This room exists for applying your energy to hacking. If you don't want to be disturbed by people interrupting your deep thoughts for a presentation, you should hang out in this room.
Note that the room shouldn't necessarily be quiet. We are dealing with people after all, and people are at the hackathon to collaborate and discuss and socialize. What we mean is that nobody will turn out the lights so you can see the projection and nobody will start shouting to be heard in the opposite corner.
2 The IO Room
We expect that occasionally somebody will want to give a presentation updating others on their project. We also might have some tutorials or meetings. If you want to do any of these things, then the Note that this room is not exclusive for just talking. Anybody is welcome to use the room for hacking or other purposes. If you don't mind that somebody might start talking loud or turning out the lights, then by all means, use the room.
