It seems to me that even when the article kind of works, it should be upgraded to newer versions of Xfce... atm Xfce is 4.10 and this article prolly worked flawlessly to one BEFORE 4.6.0, which seems weird. I've just installed Debian Wheezy 7.0 Stable (first time) with XFCE.

I've got XMonad 0.10 up and running easily enough and more simply than the directions require. In fact, I only installed xmonad and contrib, three line xmonad.hs (main = xmonad xfceConfig), I get the option to choose XMonad at login. The only trouble is that I can not see the panel.

I've just installed Debian Wheezy 7.0 Stable (first time) with XFCE. I've got XMonad 0.10 up and running easily enough and more simply than the directions require.
