- The Industrial Haskell Group has been launched, to provide support for commercial users of Haskell
- A new paper has been released on the GHC multicore runtime system: Runtime Support for Multicore Haskell
- GHC 6.10, the flagship Haskell compiler, has been released, with a new parallel garbage collector, type families and data parallel arrays. Get it now.
- Over 1000 Haskell libraries and tools have now been released on Hackage.
- The Haskell-prime committee is continuing work on defining the next minor revision of the language specification.
- Real World Haskell, a new textbook on Haskell from O'Reilly is now available
- Practica interpretarii monadice, a new textbook on Monadic Interpretation using Haskell from MatrixRom is now available. (Romania and Moldova)
