Sebastian,
This is good news. I'm sorry we have been a bit quiet recently;
POPL and the Haskell Implementors worshop have intervened.
Atze Dijkstra (at Utrecht) is also working on a Mac OSX port for
GHC. By this message I hope to put you in touch with each other.
Meanwhile, we will apply your patches (i.e. probably Simon Marlow will).
I hope we can get set up so that Atze can commit changes himself,
so he and you can work together on Mac stuff without having to
wait for us to check things in for you.
Meanwhile, I don't think we've met, have we? Are you doing this
work at home? Part of your job? Or what? (Always interested to
know what GHC users are using GHC for!).
Simon

| I finally managed to get a working ghc 4.11.1=20
| (unregisterised, though) on OS X.
| I have not tested it much, but a trivial "Hello World !"=20
| program works. I had to link
| manually though, the options passed to ld were completely wrong.
| I need to do some clean-ups, but hopefully I'll be able to=20
| post a complete patch
| soon.
