Assume a configure script knows the path of ghc. How can it find
which ghc-pkg to call? Must it be configured separately by the user
(if a different ghc version than /usr(/local)/bin/ghc is used)?
This would be a pity.

Could ghc be called with some option to emit things like its ghc-pkg
or import dirs (for hmake) etc.?
