Hi Simon.

|
| I just installed MingGW 3.1.0-1, so whatever comes with that. For now,
| I'm using cygwin for development - msys seemed to take forever to build
| a library when I tried it, but I didn't investigate why.
In that case your gcc is probably about 3.0 - 3.2 and binutils about 2.14.
I've been using gcc 3.3.1 for GHC builds with an occasional accidental foray
into 3.4.0 (eg yesterday). In all cases binutils 2.15.90 and the very
latest MinGW runtime and Windows libraries. It looks like you haven't moved
your recent 3.4.x chnages into the stable branch yet.
The other thing I was planning on looking into in the near future is the
consistent failure of the GHCi versions of the tests on Windows.
Cheers
Mike Thomas.
