MSYS build - stage 2 problem

OK, so I think the easiest way forward is for me to try to reproduce
your entire msys setup.

I've installed the download you point to below. Please send your
configure patch.

I got stuck immediately: msys has no cvs. So how do I check out a tree?
Install cygwin perhaps???!

|
| You're definitely not stupid. MSYS uses (requires) POSIX path and
that's why I
| like it since it enables me to have easy Linux-like compile on Win32.
|
| Please, try download MSYS (it's 2.5MB file) and try to build ghc with
it.

1.0.10-rc4 has
| nasty bug that MSDOS console is popping up)
|
| If you like, I can send you my small 'patch' to prepare proper
"configure".
|
| It does not require the whole cygwin environment and, anyway, one
needs to have
| MinGW compiler installed (MSYS will find it and create simple fstab
and in 5
| minutes you'll have working MSYS/MinGW environment :-)

| Gour
