:info broken (deliberately?)

I notice that :info doesn't work in the head:

    Prelude> :i Maybe
    data Maybe a*** Exception: kevind stub

that stub is in compiler/main/PprTyThing.hs, but I haven't 
quite been able to work out when it got there, or why?

is this an oversight, or related to one of the bigger patches,
and when will it work again?

btw, how would I go about figuring out the answer for myself?
there still seems to be no web-interface to darcs GHC, and 
'darcs annotate compiler/main/PprTyThing.hs' does not seem 
to do the trick:

$ darcs annotate compiler/main/PprTyThing.hs

darcs failed:  There is no file or directory named 'compiler/main/PprTyThing.hs'

$ ls -l compiler/main/PprTyThing.hs
-rwxr-xr-x 1 cr3 None 8178 Oct  4 00:14 compiler/main/PprTyThing.hs
