i prefer separating online communication and offline preparation/building, 
and i like to have control over when i call darcs-all, and which packages
i ask it to get. wouldn't it be more in style with pre-configuration if there 
was a 'darcs-all check', which might then suggest to call 'darcs-all get' if 
anything is still missing at this point?
