Fixed some spelling errors in the user's guide

Hi,

I've gone through the User's Guide and corrected a bunch of spelling
errors. The darcs patch bundle is attached. It was created against the
6.8 branch. I wasn't sure if that was the right branch to apply it to
though since the release is to be expected soon. So I'd thought it'd
be better to hand it over to you guys.
