The d.h.o/cabal and the d.h.o/cabal-branches/cabal-1.2 had weird messed
up repos. They both had _darcs/prestine-old files in them which would
seem to indicate some tool had got interrupted. With the help of Ganesh
I fixed it up by 'get'ting the repo and re-checkpointing. The repo
backups are in /srv/darcs/archive/.
Anyway, this works again:
darcs get --partial http://darcs.haskell.org/cabal
darcs get --partial http://darcs.haskell.org/cabal-branches/cabal-1.2
There are several other repos under d.h.o:/srv/darcs/ that have
_darcs/prestine-old directories. Those all are ok in that one can get
--partial them. I don't know what caused any of them to get into that
state.
Perhaps we should upgrade the darcs on darcs.haskell.org from the
current "1.0.9rc1 (release candidate 1)" to the real 1.0.9 (or some
other version on the advice of our local darcs experts).
