Yes. I applied it to Cabal HEAD so in due course it'll make it's way into the
Cabal-1.2 branch that ghc-6.8 uses.
Pushing patches from Cabal HEAD to the Cabal-1.2 branch requires running ghc's
validate script. Since this takes a while it's more efficient to validate and
push patches in batches (that and my fast x86 machine is without a net
connection atm and I expect ghc on my office sparc box would not pass validation).
