HEADS UP: big codegen patch

Before merging a large batch of codegen changes, I wanted to make it available for testing. These patches do not turn on the new code generator (still a buggy work in progress), but there were some representation changes that affected the old code generator, as well as native-code generators on multiple platforms. You can download the patch from a repository at: http://darcs.haskell.org/~dias/ghc

These changes have not yet been pushed to the HEAD, but I intend to do so next week. Please take this opportunity to test things out and let me know if you run into problems.
