Validate fails

This must be an incorrect warning since we:
import qualified Distribution.Compat.Map as Map
So there is no name shadowing. 'Map.update' is in scope, 'update' is
not. This looks like a regression in ghc HEAD. I do not get the same
warning with ghc-6.8.2.
So that might also explain the validation error since I'd be pretty sure
that whoever pushed recent changes from Cabal HEAD to the ghc's branch
of Cabal would have validated since it's well known that Cabal changes
can affect the ghc build process in non-obvious ways.
