Now, when can I have those comments and pragmas preserved, please?-)

This is the very first version, please add your own code/improvements/bug 
fixes!-) Are there more to-be-filled-in holes in the Ast? What do we do 
with those abstract types in the Ast? What else have I missed? What about
those tickets? etc, etc.
