My "membership has been disabled" repeatedly

A few other people have experienced something similar, for a variety  
of lists.  Our best guess is that it is related to spam that  
fradulently uses your email address as the sender.  These bounce from  
the mailing list back to you; your ISP sensibly rejects the bounced  
messages; and the mailing list then interprets these as non-delivery  
and disables your subscription.  Or something along those lines, anyway.

I don't think we know how to fix it, sorry.
