build failures on MacOsX

Actually my confusion maybe is resolved as I pulled from master (into my own branch) last night *after* I had already
built and I did not fully clean last night. But I did clean this morning, and got this error. So it could be caused by some
patch to head from < 10 days ago.

Hi all, this morning I get the following when I tried to build after a full clean. But I swear I did manage to `make' last night (with devel2 flavor)!
