 As I understand it, we already have (a) and (c) working and providing
 nothing. What is wanted is (b) (.dmz) providing everything (where
 "everything" may or may not include gcc). Presumably if we had (b)-with-
 everything then it would be trivial to also make (b)-with-nothing, just by
 not doing some of the steps.

 I think we would want a nightly builder to build an x86-only or PPC-only
 dmz, but perhaps have some script that could merge the two.
