Compiling a cabal library with profiling turned on caused gcc to run out
 of (1.5Gb of) memory and crash.  Specifying -fasm in the cabal file works.

 The repository can be darcsed from [http://malde.org/~ketil/bio
 ].  Tested with ghc-6-6 (Ubuntu Feisty default install).
