 See HP bug http://trac.haskell.org/haskell-platform/ticket/138

 Perl executable path on the Mac installer for GHC creates unnec.
 dependency on Perl from MacPorts, making GHC harder to install.

 HP can patch and work around, but it would be better to fix upstream.
