 I "ls"'d the directory and no new files were being added. There is an
 element of waiting; the very same command works fine in Mac OS X. It turns
 out Haiku OS's git client has poor OpenSSL support, as evidenced by the
 fact that Haiku git eventually conks out after 5 minutes with a message
 about SSL certificates.
