Yes. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Somehow the problem only pops  
up if you have an existing ghc installation and a newish Cabal. And  
even then, there's an easy fix.

The following ports are currently installed:
   ghc @6.8.2_3+darwin_9_i386 (active)

That looks ok to me...
