[Haskell-cafe] Problem compiling hdbc with GHC 6.10.1 in windows

You need to use base-3.  For a temporary fix, edit the file HDBC.cabal
and change the base part of the "build-depends" to look like this:
base == 3.*, (wherever it occurs)
