  of curiosity, do we know why the Language Shootout has <A 
  href="http://shootout.alioth.debian.org/u64q/program.php?test=spectralnorm&amp;lang=ghc&amp;id=4">upgraded</A> 
  to GHC 7.4.1, but still isn't using -fllvm for e.g. the spectral-norm 
  benchmark? &nbsp;(It results in a nonnegligible speedup on my machine.)
