<div dir="ltr"><div>Hello all,</div><div><br></div><div>We are an advanced stage start-up company (raising a C round, currently just under 100 people), and we are looking for an addition to our Data Science/Algorithm development team. At Madvertise we work on very hard problems in computational advertising. Our team has developed and has maintained ownership of the &#39;Decision Engine&#39;, the core optimization component of our ad server. It is written completely in Haskell and has been running in production for several months now with impressive results.</div>
<div><br></div><div>The position obviously includes day-to-day Haskell programming, but the ability and willingness to do applied research in the field of computational advertising is also required. To quote from the official position description (linked below):</div>
<div><br></div><div>&quot;Although every person in the team has their strengths, everyone needs to be prepared to participate in the entire R&amp;D chain: from research to prototyping and implementation, down to deployment into production. Besides this we are also expected to provide other departments with technical expertise on analysis-heavy topics, e.g., fraud detection.&quot;</div>
