Hi,

I'm guessing that if you apply a patch along the lines of what was
contributed by Sean O'Rourke

things might just improve (I've re-attached that patch to this e-mail
message.) Alternatively, build from the CVS version of Hugs
( http://cvs.haskell.org/ )
