Issue 41: Border Color is set after Layout is evaluated making custom border coloration schemes impossible.
http://code.google.com/p/xmonad/issues/detail?id=41

New issue report by tim.thelion:
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install ColorCoding.hs .
wget timtheli.freeshell.org/ColorCoding.hs

2. add it as a modifier to you're favorite multiwindow layout.
3. change the border width to like 20
4. rebuild, restart, and start up a bunch of laggy, slow to draw windows.
5. Switch between those windows with the window switch hotkeys, keeping an eye on the master.
6. you may see a bit of red flash on it's border before the custom coloration is overdrawn by xmonads own window colloring code!

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
that I would have altimate power, and that xmonad would be more customizable than emacs.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
darcs, on debian.
