- From what I can tell xfce integration works like this:
* start xfce4-session
* run "xmonad --replace" from a terminal (e.g. xterm)
* run xfce4-session-settings and save the current session
That should do the trick.
One could also use .xinitrc with these lines:
and remove xfwm4 from the session beforehand.
For power management, I found that xfce4-power-manager (which is still
a stand-alone program) works just as well as gnome-power-manager.
