As a stopgap, this module (startuphook) checks for and reports this kind of  
misconfiguration.  It's not properly haddocked or clean, though.   
Modification to become a keys hook to rewrite such bindings is  
straightforward; this would also be of interest with respect to automating  
azertyKeys.
