The following documentation is available for Hugs and accompanying libraries.
These materials assume familiarity with functional programming and
the Haskell language.
- The Hugs 98 User's Guide
Current documentation for Hugs 98, but with some gaps.
- The Hugs 98 User Manual,
by Mark P. Jones and John Peterson, 1999.
A comprehensive manual for an older version of Hugs 98.
Though now outdated in places,
it remains the best guide to many of the language extensions
supported by Hugs.
It is also available as
PDF,
gzipped Postscript,
gzipped tar-ed html,
dvi,
WinHelp (zipped) and
HTMLHelp (win32 help format).
- Haskell 98 Language and Libraries - The Revised Report,
Simon Peyton Jones (ed.), 2002.
The definitive reference on Haskell and its standard libraries.
- Haskell Hierarchical Libraries
A substantial collection of library modules that are supplied with Hugs,
GHC
and Nhc98.
Hugs now implements nearly all of these modules.
